Filming Day / Uploading Footage/ Editing

Monday 28th November
I arrived at Donleys house, where we were filming, around eight forty, everyone had arrived by nine thirty. We prepared all the props and Donley got into costume, we set up his attic how we wanted it then started filming. From past experience i knew to get far more than enough footage, so we filmed each shot three times, sometimes more, to make sure we had plenty. We finished filming by about three, with an hour and a half's worth of footage.

Tuesday 29th November

We got the camera back into school and uploaded all of our footage to iMovie, we're satisfied with what we've got, and we started editing. Put in the base footage for the first thirty seconds.

Friday 2nd December

I missed Thursdays lesson, but Monty and Donley had been editing and it's coming out fantastic. They've got it all together up to the end, few more adjustments and then we've only got the credits to add, and music.

Monday 5th December

More editing, it's coming along nicely. Just the credits to go now.

Tuesday 6th December

Just me today, i worked on making a soundtrack on GarageBand, i made it to work in-sync with what was happening in the Thriller, using pre-recorded loops of violins. I thought because it's set in the noir-period, we could mix some jazz in, like brass instruments, but i won't make any of that until the others are back.


Thursday 8th December
Its been a while since I updated this, but we've, made great progress. We've pretty much finished the editing now, we jsut need to add some credits. We've made a little soundtrack to fil in the quiet starting montage, and added a few sound effects to spruce it up. We still have to work on a company logo, and have to think about how we want this.

Thursday 5th January
We're confident that were finished now, and ready to write the production onto a disk. We want to put it on Youtube first, to get some post-production reviews from a wide audience.
